SUEDE. VISOR FEST
SUEDE

Victorian vampires, romantic antiheroes, sonic avant-garde geniuses, musical alchemists, rebels, non conformists, drug addicts, these and more epithets can be cast upon one of the more successful bands of the early 90’s, although they distanced themselves from the rough, laddish attitude of some of the more iconic britpop juggernauts.
Suede were far more refined and could invoke languid darkish atmospheres that resonate along the corridors, rooms and in the lifts at the hotel of the broken hearted situated just across the boulevard of the broken dreams. Sometimes they can reach heavenly heights and provide the listeners with a sublime state of mind. Their first album is widely consider one of the best albums of 1993, and the one that turned them in shinny, popular rock stars and sought after celebrities.
At the palpitating magma core of their eponymous album: Suede is the bickering and chart-topping, shot-lived couple: Brett Anderson and Justine Frischmann, together they had conjured a new musical forcefield that attracted frantic followers all over the world. Suede in Spain, (2023) inspired by the passion and suburban cultural undercurrents of its pubic, displayed their musical spectrum in all its glory, captivating hardcore veterans and newbies alike with their melodious acoustic vibes, tinged with sweet melancholy and dark glamour, all mixed with harrowing childhood traumatic experiences, translated into dramatic sonic textures and gothic undertones, climbing up a ladder of guitar strings trying to reach the sonic grandeur, and then…the epic anticlimax extended over misty and sorrowful musical landscapes, or sometimes ragging and screamig from the fiery and hellish oven of their damned souls.
